I've always been an overachieving, people pleaser (clearly eldest daughter coded) and while all that can be super problematic without proper boundaries, being 'too much' actually what makes me incredibly good at building brands and websites.

I was deep in the F&B world when burnout hit HARD. It took a move from NJ to Florida to finally slow down and pull my creativity out of the dusty case I'd been ignoring for years. I put it on the record player. I started jamming. And then things got good.
Like, really, really good.
I didn't set out be a brand designer
WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS ...
I learned about brand design, did one logo project for a friend (for free!), figured 'how hard is it to start a business?' and launched Scribbled Sage shortly after. I haven’t looked back since. The best part? The proverbial juice was worth every god damn squeeze. I LOVE what I do now.
I figured, how hard can it be?

And I've decided that's okay - cause not having one is my superpower. However, I do have a B.A. in Communication Studies: the psychology of connection, the science of emotion. Branding let me blend the strategic, nerdy side of my brain with the creative, artistic one, and tell visual stories that hit on a gut level.
I don't have a design degree

I'm low key a mind reader. love hearing your stories, goals, fears, & quirks. Even more, I love turning your random inspo into a coherent, complex brand. Fair warning tho: I'm probably gonna drop a bunch of F bombs and laugh too loud. I want you to feel like you're walking into a cozy living room — not a conference room. We're friends and collaborators here. Not money collectors.

What started as 'just helping out' became a full-blown creative partnership pretty fast. Together, we build brands and Showit websites with twice the spice and double the brain power.
Nick 's got 17+ years of experience in hospitality, real estate, contracting, and sales. He's got a deep understanding of how systems work, and is the ONLY reason your projects get launched on time. He's our designated web coder, problem fixer, and to-do list crosser offer, all while bumping a fire playlist and putting up with my bullshit 🤪

Alex finds a way in very single project to pull out the brand cornerstones that even the client hasn't yet uncovered in their branding journey, Alex can construct a brand's DNA because she understands the heart and soul of the mission. Scribbled Sage was hands down my best investment of 2025. I was nervous to put that much of my hard earned income into a rebrand as a small business owner - but I promise, it's worth it. The conversations, availability, & support feels unmatched and even STILL Alex is available if I need her. That's unheard of these days because people want your money to deliver and peace out but Scribbled Sage is not that way and they want YOU to love it which is awesome.
