We’re Alex & Nick. Real life couple, real good design team, real bad dancers (but hey, we have fun!) We’re obsessed with building brands and websites that feel soulful, strategic, + so damn groovy.
We're a boutique branding and web design studio based in Tampa Bay, Florida, working with incredible humans everywhere! We believe in building brands with a human first approach that brings the nostalgia and authentic connection from the 1970's into the now.

SO HOW'D WE END UP HERE?
FUNNY STORY.
I didn’t set out to be a brand designer, but the universe (thankfully) had other, groovier plans. I was working in hospitality when burnout knocked me off my feet. It took a move from NJ to Florida to finally slow down and pull my creativity out of the dusty case I’d left it in. I put it on the record player, and started jamming, and that's where things got good. LIke, really good.

I FIGURED, HOW HARD CAN IT BE?
I learned about brand design, did one logo project for a friend (for free!), figured 'how hard is it to start a business?' and launched Scribbled Sage shortly after. I haven’t looked back since. The best part? The proverbial juice was worth every god damn squeeze. I LOVE what I do now.

THEN, WE LEVELED UP AGAIN.
Now, my wonderful, sweet, life of the party husband Nick has grabbed a mic and joined the band. What started as “just helping out” in the biz quickly became a full-blown partnership. Together, we design brands and Showit websites that feel alive, and actually help skyrocket your brand to success.

With over a decade of experience in hospitality, real estate, contracting, and sales, Nick's got a deep understanding of how systems work, and brings structure, support, and spice to every project. He's our designated web coder, problem fixer, and bug finder — all while the playlist king keeps it spinnin’ on the 1's and 2's.

Let's face it, the world is weird. Everyone’s personal assistant is a URL. No flying cars, but the robots have (kinda) taken over, and they’ve made a lotta brands that feel… meh. But we're fighting back with a make love, not war kinda vibe. We lead with connection at the core of everything we do, and believe brands should feel like YOU; including the weird, the wonderful, and the wonky. We combine deep strategy, thoughtful design, and a whole lot of heart to create brands that resonate, attract, and stand the test of time.

Yep. We’re big fans of Disco Snails over here. Soulful brands don’t happen overnight, and we’re not here to pretend that they do. We move with intention, not speed.

The Babe Cave is blending aesthetics (and esthetics!) with a sense of community and connectedness. Specializing in waxing, facials, lash extensions, spray tans, skin analysis, and consultations. They’ve created an inclusive haven focused on making clients feel confident and beautiful and we built a brand that matched!
